FOR THOSE WHO COME AFTER

Expedition 33, read by Claude.

Savecraft parses Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 saves in place -- every character's build, skills, gear, and Lumina allocations, plus party, inventory, and story progression. Works with Claude and ChatGPT.

SAVE-POWERED

The whole expedition, out of the save.

The Savecraft daemon decodes the game's Unreal Engine save format locally -- the file never leaves your machine, only the parsed state does.

What gets parsed An expedition overview -- playtime, New Game+ cycle, current location, gold, difficulty, and the character roster -- plus a full section per character: level, experience, HP/MP/AP, base stats, equipped skills, gear, and Lumina allocations. Party composition, inventory, story progression, and weapons round it out.
What we refuse to guess This game's damage formulas aren't publicly documented, so Savecraft doesn't pretend to know them -- no invented crit math, no fabricated scaling curves. This is an early (alpha) release, and inventory items aren't categorized by type yet (the save data carries no type tags).
THE DIFFERENCE

What changes

WITHOUT SAVECRAFT
YOU Should I stack crit on Maelle or go for raw power?
AI Crit is usually the play -- critical hits in Expedition 33 deal 2.5x base damage, and with the right Pictos you can push crit chance past 60%, which out-scales flat power increases by the midgame.

That 2.5x -- and the 60% -- are invented. The game never published its formulas; neither should your AI.

BUILD ADVICE -- WITHOUT THE FICTION
YOU |

Your real build plus honest reasoning beats confident fiction.

HOW YOU USE IT

An expedition journal that reads itself

Builds, party, and progression -- from the save, not from memory.

* BUILD READER
YOU Which of my characters is under-leveled for where I am?
AI The roster comes with levels in the overview, and each character's section carries their full sheet. Cross-referencing that against your current location and act is exactly the kind of question the save answers cleanly.
= LOADOUT AUDITOR
YOU Did I ever re-equip those skills after the last boss?
AI Equipped skills and gear parse per character, so 'what is actually equipped right now' has a definitive answer -- including the Lumina allocations you set three sessions ago and forgot about.
+ EXPEDITION LOG
YOU How far am I, really? And is this NG+ worth continuing?
AI Playtime, story progression, New Game+ cycle, gold, and difficulty all sit in the overview -- an honest picture of the run you're on, before you decide whether the next one starts tonight.
FROM SAVE TO ANSWERS

Three steps into the expedition.

The daemon watches; the parser decodes; you ask.

Add Expedition 33

Install the Savecraft daemon on the machine you play on and point it at your save folder.

Save like you always do

Each save decodes locally -- Unreal Engine's binary format in, structured expedition state out.

Ask about the run

Builds, loadouts, party, progression -- grounded in what the save actually says.

METHODOLOGY

We show our work

Binary-accurate parsing, honest limits.

The save format itself The parser decodes Unreal Engine 5's GVAS save format directly -- property tags, nested structures, arrays -- with safety limits against malformed data. What's in the save is what you get.
No invented formulas Clair Obscur's combat math isn't publicly documented. Rather than dress up guesses as facts, Savecraft reads what's knowable -- your build -- and leaves formula speculation clearly labeled as speculation.
Honest edges Alpha release. Inventory items aren't categorized by type -- the save data carries no type tags to categorize by. When the edges move, this page moves with them.

When one falls, we continue.
